ENVIS Centre Karnataka under the mandate of ENVIS activities, publishes quarterly newsletters annually under the name ‘Parisara’ meaning ‘environment’ in Kannada. The newsletters addresses various emerging topics on environmental issues along with newspaper articles showcasing environmental issues. The topics selected for the newsletters are selected, not only based on the evolving technologies but also to combat climate change and to enhance livelihood options. Utmost care is being taken to assemble authentic information on the selected subject, with substantial research, processing, presenting in an appealing format and disseminate to the readers. The newsletters prepared by our centre are circulated with all other ENVIS centres, ENVIS nodes, MoEF, GoI, state government departments, institutions and eco-clubs of NGC Karnataka.
