Introduction

The Government of Karnataka has established the State Training And Research Centre (STARC) in the year 2007. The Centre imparts training to both technical and non-technical Staff of the Employment and training department and technical Staff of Govt Aided / Private Industrial Training Institutes. The Centre is conducting various long term and short term training programmes since inception. The center has highly qualified faculty members and has excellent state of the art facilities to provide best training.

The Centre aims to cater to the training needs of all cadres of the Staff of the training wing of the department. This includes practical training, refresher courses, orientation programmes, up-gradation of knowledge in the latest development in concerned fields and in the ever changing Government Rules, Policies, Departmental Developments, etc. and there by improving the quality of training and governance.
