Welcome​


Karnataka state is one of the pioneer states in th​​e country in providing comprehensive public health services to its people. Even before the concept of Primary Health Centers was conceived by the government of India, the state had already made a beginning in establishing a number of PHU's for providing comprehensive Health Care, and a delivery system consisting of curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitation health care, to the people of the state. "HEALTH" is an asset to every person.​​​​

National Health Mission​

National Health Mission is launched by Hon'ble Prime minister in April 2005. National Rural Health Mission has strived to achieve progress in providing universal access to equitable, affordable and quality health care which is responsive to the needs of the people.

State Institute for Health &
Family Welfare

Institute started in the year 1996-97 under IPP-IX KARNATAKA PROJECT. During 2000-01 National Institute of Health​ and Family Welfare, New Delhi recognized this institute as Collaborating Training Institution (CTI) for RCH, NIHFW, and is a Nodal Centre for e-Learning courses.
