Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM)

The Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA) Govt. of India, New Delhi has launched two programmes during December 2005 for the welfare of slum dwellers in the state under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM). The two schemes are;

  1. Basic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP) click here for details.

Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY)

The Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA) Govt. of India, New Delhi has launched a new scheme called “Rajiv Awas Yojana” during 2011-12 budget. Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) envisages a “Slum Free India" with inclusive and equitable cities in which every citizen has access to basic civic infrastructure and social amenities and decent shelter. Click here for details.
