The Department was established in the year 1990 as part of Physics Department and then in 1996 was elevated as a separate department. The subject is offered with Physics, Mathematics in B.Sc. Course. At present three faculties are working in the department. The Success rate during last three years is 97%. A new combination Electronics, Mathematics & Computer Science has been introduced from 2014.
