Powers and Duties of Record Keepers

 

  • S​​hall be conversant with the rules relating to record keeping, as stipulated in hand book of Office procedure.
  • Shall maintain record register to make entry of the files received from different sections and make arrangement to keep files of different categories in proper manner in a separate rack. He will also work as a case worker.
  • Shall also responsible for making available the records to the concerned section, to make arrangements destruction/disposal of old records by obtaining orders from appropriate authority shall attend the works entrusted by the superior controlling authority.
