Wages Report :
These classifications are defined by DES. They are the Unskilled
Labour and Skilled Labour.
The Unskilled Labour is further divided into various ClassTypes.They
are Class-A, Class-B, Class-C and Class-D.
Class-A consists of Digging, Harrowing, Interculturing,
Irrigation or Watering, Ploughing, Sowing and Uprooting
Class-B consists of Manuring, Picking (Cotton), Reaping
Harvesting, Threshing, Reaping Winnowing, Transplanting, Weeding.
Class-C Cattle, Sheep & Goat grazing.
Class-D Any other operations relating to Arecanut and Coconut
garden, Harvesting in Areca & Coconut, Peeling the Coconut &
Arecanut, Trimming & spraying in Arecanut and Coconut garden
The Skilled Labour is
divided into Blacksmith, Carpender and Mochies.
Census means Agricultural Census and is conducted every 5 years.

An operational holding with area less than a hectare
