Department of Bio-Technology
Department of Biotechnology was established in 2001 under the stewardship of Botany and Zoology departments. Since 2006, the department has its independent existence. The department has initiated C-BITS (Consortium of Biotechnology, Information and Training Services) to provide hands-on training. The departmental laboratories are well equipped with Cooling Centrifuge, Trinocular Microscope with CCD Camera attachment, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, PCR machine, Deep Freezer etc.
